Why the least likely candidate was most likely
This is why I voted for Obama and I don't want my race to die off. I'm not some "black/brown supremacist." I've got Spaniard, Mexican and that's from my mother. I have American/European from my father. I'd be a half-breed if I were only Mexican. So I'm 1/3 Mexica but I saw an opportunity and spark for change from an unlikely source as far as the norm/pattern of things here. I started thinking again and the more I was told to stop the more I thought to defy. Simply to live would be the gist of it, the core of my existance is to live. I shouldn't have to add happliy ever after. That's like having to explain why you don't like to be set on fire or sawed in half. I'm just a wee bit more comfortable alive and well. Does it make a difference that there are Blacks, Asians, Whites, other countries, religions or sexual preferences "competing for my oxygen?" No. We can't nor should we change who we are or should be, but we can change our actions and learn. We can change hate, violence, competition to cooperation and humanity, if not love. Humanity is a form of love as friendship is a form of love as well. I don't have to sleep with you to feel or need some sort of bond. And just so you know, especially from acclimation I'm often partial to blondes and redheads. I dunno why when I think about it, it's like trying to explain why I like BBQ. Because it tastes good? It's not the only thing I love or ever could love either.
