It's empty calories for body, mind and spirit and doesn't just leave you craving but drains your strength, nerve, social/emotional strength, spirit, and creates a dissonance between reality and a pipe dream. It's not even a fantasy per se. Your brain and body get wired to react outside the norms of biology, not just "societal norms and customs." Then there's the lack of cuddling, sweet talk or pillow talk, no "I love you's" etc. No walks in the park, poetry, music, grunion runs, dancing, flowers, etc. No character or bonding occurs, no heart or courage grows or is nutured and kept alive. This leads not just to risky behavior when single but infidelity when married or in a relationship. Same thing other than the piece of paper etc. It's not even romantic from a adventure and chauvenistic point of view and a waste of a short but beautiful life. Any woman strips when she loves you or it's the beginning of love. Anything else is a hazing, tribal, or ritualistic abuse or "tradition." It's like that song by Extreme. I loved it right off but sometimes couldn't admit it around Utah, especially around some Mormons. And women who say now I know how it feels like, and they're always Mormon since I live in Utah, are using social engineering, the same as manipulation or psychological manipulation or urban wardfare or psychological warfare etc. Female dirty rotten scoundrels and even couples don't want competition for their kids and many plan ahead even at a fairly young age, at least at puberty.
